Tai (Peace): The small departs and the great approaches. Good fortune and success.
Lines
- First line (1): In the beginning, nine: Pulling up the rush plant, it brings up the clump with it. Perseverance brings good fortune.
- Second line (2): Second nine: Embracing the wilderness, crossing the river, not neglecting the distant, not keeping companions, and thus gaining the support of the middle way.
- Third line (3): Third nine: No level ground without a slope, no going without a return. In hardship, perseverance brings no blame. Do not worry about your sincerity; you will have food and blessings.
- Fourth line (4): Fourth six: Fluttering down, not relying on wealth, but with neighbors, and without warning, in sincerity.
- Fifth line (5): Fifth six: The emperor's daughter is given in marriage, bringing blessings and great good fortune.
- Top line (6): Top six: The city wall falls back into the moat. Do not use the army. Proclaim your commands from your own city. Perseverance brings humiliation.
