Lines
- First line (1): Retreating at the tail is dangerous. Do not use this to undertake anything.
- Second line (2): Hold fast with the hide of a yellow ox—no one can loosen it.
- Third line (3): Being tied to retreat brings illness and danger. Keeping servants and concubines is auspicious.
- Fourth line (4): Retreating gracefully: the noble person is auspicious, the petty person is not.
- Fifth line (5): Retreating in a praiseworthy manner: perseverance brings good fortune.
- Top line (6): Retreating freely and at ease: nothing is unfavorable.
