Judgment
Youthful inexperience has success. It is not I who seek the young and inexperienced, but the young and inexperienced seek me. When they first consult me, I answer; if they ask again and again, that is importunate, and I do not answer. It is favorable to remain steadfast and true.
Lines
- First line (1): Developing the youthful and inexperienced: it is favorable to use discipline and punishment, to loosen the bonds and fetters. If one goes forward in this way, there will be regret.
- Second line (2): Embracing the youthful and inexperienced brings good fortune. Accepting a wife brings good fortune. The son is able to take charge of the household.
- Third line (3): Do not take this woman. When she sees a man of wealth, she loses her proper self. There is nothing that would be beneficial.
- Fourth line (4): Being trapped in youthful inexperience brings regret.
- Fifth line (5): The youthful and inexperienced person: good fortune.
- Top line (6): Striking the youthful and inexperienced: it is not favorable to be a robber, but favorable to ward off robbers.
