Judgment

Small Excess: Success. Favorable to be steadfast. Small matters may be done; great matters should not be attempted. The flying bird leaves its call behind — it is better to go down than to go up. Great good fortune.

Lines

• First line (1): Initial Six: The flying bird brings misfortune.
• Second line (2): Second Six: Passing by one's ancestor, one meets one's grandmother; not reaching one's ruler, one meets one's minister. No blame.
• Third line (3): Third Nine: Not exceeding, one guards against it. Following along may bring harm. Misfortune.
• Fourth line (4): Fourth Nine: No blame. Not exceeding, one meets it. Going forward is dangerous — be on guard. Do not use enduring perseverance.
• Fifth line (5): Fifth Six: Dense clouds, no rain, from our western fields. The duke shoots with a corded arrow and takes the prey in its cave.
• Top line (6): Top Six: Not meeting, one exceeds it. The flying bird is caught in the net. Misfortune — this is called disaster and calamity.
