The Army. Perseverance. An experienced elder leads to good fortune. No blame.
Lines
- First line (1): The army sets out with discipline. If discipline is lacking, misfortune.
- Second line (2): In the midst of the army, good fortune. No blame. The king bestows honors three times.
- Third line (3): The army may carry corpses in the carts. Misfortune.
- Fourth line (4): The army retreats and camps. No blame.
- Fifth line (5): There is game in the field. It is favorable to seize it and speak. No blame. The eldest son leads the army. Younger sons carry corpses in carts. Perseverance brings misfortune.
- Top line (6): The great ruler issues commands: establishing states, continuing families. Do not employ petty men.
